See the girl on the left? That’s my best friend Lauren. I’ve known her for what seems like forever. She was my first friend when I moved to America. We’ve never had a fight and i’m pretty sure we never will.
My dad started reading the Harry Potter books aloud to me in Kindergarten because Lauren and her dad were reading the series. I would have never been a part of this beautiful fandom if it wasn’t for her.
She gave me something that is a major theme in Harry Potter, friendship. For 14 years she’s put up with my extreme nerdyness, my family drama and my depression. Though the Harry Potter series is ending, I know our friendship never will. Thank you for being the best friend that I could ever hope for.
